Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the VisionReel app (the "App") does with your information. The App is made by Measify ("we", "us"). It is for adults only: you must be 18 or older to use it.
The short version
- You never sign in. The App uses an anonymous account with a random ID. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your selfie is used only to make your own videos. We do not use it to train AI models.
- The selfie we send to make a video is deleted automatically about 2 hours after upload. Your videos and your selfie are kept on your phone, not on our servers.
- Your credits are stored on your phone only.
- You can delete your selfie, or your whole account, from the Profile tab at any time.
How the App works
You pick life goals from our catalogue (for example a dream home, travel, a career moment or fitness). You add one selfie, taken with your camera or chosen from your photo library, and tap "Agree & use my photo" to confirm it is you and that it may be sent to our AI partner to film your scenes. The App then makes short AI videos that show you living those goals. One video costs one credit.

The App does not collect your precise location, your contacts, or anything else from your photo library beyond the one photo you pick.
Your selfie
- Your selfie is stored in the App's private storage on your device.
- When you make a video, the App uploads the selfie straight to temporary storage at our AI provider, fal.ai, using a single-use upload link. Each uploaded file is set to expire about 2 hours after upload, after which fal.ai deletes it, whether the video worked or not. We do not keep a copy on our own servers.
- fal.ai runs the video model (MiniMax reference-to-video) on our behalf, only to make your video. We do not use your selfie to train AI models. fal.ai processes it under its own terms and privacy policy (fal.ai/privacy).
- We do not use your selfie for face recognition, identification, advertising or profiling.
- "Delete my selfie" in the Profile tab deletes the selfie from your device at once. Copies already sent to fal.ai expire as described above.
Your finished videos
Videos are generated at fal.ai and the App downloads them to your device. The short-lived job record on our server holds a link to the generated file, not your selfie, and is deleted once the App has the video or after 7 days at most. The generated file held by fal.ai is kept under fal.ai's own retention rules; we do not store it on our servers. A video stays private unless you choose to share it. Share links (visionreel-app.web.app/v/...) open a public page that invites people to the App; they do not show or host your video.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use these service providers (processors), each only for the purpose shown:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): anonymous sign-in, Cloud Functions, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, Hosting. Firebase privacy.
- fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.): temporary storage of your selfie and AI video generation. fal.ai privacy.
- Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.): confirming in-app purchases. Adapty privacy.
- Apple and Google: payment for in-app purchases through the App Store and Google Play, under their own privacy policies.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Selfie uploaded to fal.ai: about 2 hours, then deleted automatically.
- Video job records: deleted once the App has the video, and in any case within 7 days.
- Reports: up to 12 months.
- Push tokens: until the token stops working, you turn alerts off, or you ask us to delete it.
- Analytics and crash data: under Firebase's retention settings, and never linked to your selfie or videos.
- Data on your device (selfie, videos, credits, settings): until you delete it, delete your account, or uninstall the App.
AI-generated content
The videos are AI-generated visualisations of goals you choose, made for inspiration and fun. They are not predictions, promises or advice, and they may not look exactly like you.
Adults only
The App is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the App, email us and we will delete the related data.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your selfie: Profile → Your selfie → Delete my selfie.
- Delete your account: Profile → Your data → Delete all my data. See how to delete your account for what is removed.
- Notifications: turn off "Film ready alerts" in the Profile tab or in your phone settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or state laws in the US), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because the account is anonymous, please include your Support ID (shown in the Profile tab) when you write to us so we can find your data.
Legal bases (EU/UK): we process your selfie and video data to provide the service you ask for (contract), with your explicit consent given in the App (tapping "Agree & use my photo") before your selfie is used; analytics, crash data and abuse protection rely on our legitimate interests in running a safe, working App. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your selfie or your account.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Server data is protected by Google Cloud security and access rules; clients cannot read job records, push tokens or reports. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for important changes, tell you in the App.
