AI vision board: see your future self on video

An AI vision board puts your face into your goals instead of a stranger's. Most AI vision board apps make still pictures. VisionReel makes short films: you pick up to 3 goal scenes, add one clear, front-facing selfie, and the app films a 6-second clip of you in each scene, in about a minute. Your selfie stays on your phone and the copy sent to film your scenes expires after about 2 hours. The films are AI visualisations for inspiration, labelled as AI, and they may not look exactly like you. It is paid per film, with one-time credit packs from $9.99.

Why VisionReel: you see yourself in the scene, moving, instead of a stock photo you have to imagine yourself into.

Why put your own face in it

Reviews of vision board apps keep coming back to one thing: the person in the picture is not you. Ten reviews across the 1,030 we read said so directly, for example "mostly slim blonde white women so it's hard to pretend it's me". Seeing your own face in the scene removes that step.

Pictures or films

As of October 2026, AI vision board apps on the App Store such as BecomeX and VisionBoardAI make still images of you (from their listings). VisionReel makes 6-second films, and they play one after another as your reel for the year.

How it works

  1. Pick up to 3 goal scenes from the catalogue of 31: home, career, money, travel, love and friends, wellness, creativity and milestones.
  2. Pick a word for your year (Brave, Calm, Bold and others). It titles your board. You can add a short note to future you.
  3. Add one selfie with the camera or from your photos, and agree before it is used.
  4. Choose a credit pack. 1 credit makes 1 film.
  5. Watch. Each scene takes about a minute. You get a 6-second film of you in it, and every film joins your reel for the year.

Will it look like me?

Often closely, not always. AI likeness varies, and reviews of other AI apps mention faces and skin tones that came out wrong. What helps: one clear, front-facing selfie in good light, no sunglasses, nobody else in the photo. If a film fails, the credit comes back automatically. If a film does not look like you, you can report it in the app.

About your selfie: it stays on your phone. When you film a scene, a copy goes to our AI partner (fal.ai, which runs the MiniMax video model) only to make that film, and it expires there after about 2 hours. It is never used to train AI, for face recognition or for ads. Delete it, or all your data, anytime in Profile. Details in the privacy policy.

Questions

Is there an app that puts my face in a vision board?

Yes. VisionReel uses one selfie to film you inside each goal scene you pick, as 6-second AI films.

Is it really me in the video?

The film is made by AI from one selfie, so it looks like you in the scene. It is a visualisation, it may not match you exactly, and the app labels every film as AI.

What happens to my selfie?

Your selfie stays on your phone. A copy goes to our AI partner only to film your scenes and expires there after about 2 hours. It is never used to train AI, for face recognition or for ads, and you can delete it or all your data anytime in Profile.

Is it a video or just pictures?

Video. Each goal becomes a 6-second film of you, and your films play together as your reel.
